Digital Signature

An electronic, encrypted digital signature is a means of authenticating digital data, including electronic documents, macros, and email correspondence. A signature attests to the fact that the content came from the signer and hasn’t been changed.

Why is a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) required?
Signing certificate: An identity-proving signing certificate is required in order to establish a digital signature.
A digitally signed macro or document that you submit also includes your public key and certificate.
